Self Italia is an Italian distribution chain specialized in DIY. With its 29 hypermarkets, it is able to offer its customers a wide choice of more than 50,000 items in many categories. It also offers a convenient e-commerce service.
To ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in the Commercial and Logistics areas, the company needed to acquire control and governance by adopting a Performance Management solution such as E3 Suite.
The Commercial Area was in need of a model with integration and informative enrichment starting from the data sources fed by the basic information systems that would allow data acquisition both from the goods distribution cycle and the goods sales network.This would then allow the management data to be made available to officers through the creation of a single and organic “repository”.

Thanks to the adoption of E3 Suite, already ready to use and fully configurable, Self Italia has managed to achieve its goals in a short matter of time. For example, the company was able to centralize all its data and obtain daily reports for both the sales network and for the main location functions. Some tools have also been set up to plan and control promotional activities and monitor the in-store assortment.
